The following are links to other important organizations committed to our goal of making children issues a priority in the 2006 elections.

Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) is the political action arm of the National Association of Social Workers. As a political action committee, PACE endorses and financially contributes to candidates from any party who support NASW's policy agenda. The national PACE Board of Trustees endorses (endorsement process and criteria)* and contributes to federal candidates running for U.S. House and Senate seats; state chapter PACE units decide on local and state races.

The CDF Action Council provides a strong, effective voice for all the children of America who cannot vote, lobby, or speak for themselves. They pay particular attention to the needs of poor and minority children and those with disabilities. They educates the nation about the needs of children and encourages preventive investment before they get sick, into trouble, drop out of school, or suffer family breakdown. Each year, the CDF Action Council releases a nonpartisan Congressional scorecard on how well members of Congress protect children.

Voices for America's Children (Voices) is a nonprofit organization that coordinates a nationwide network of state and local child advocacy organizations in the United States. It pursues its mission and vision by supporting member organizations advocating for children on local, state, and federal public policy issues; advocating for children on national and federal public policy issues; and
leading national campaigns to improve public policies affecting children.
